Festival season may be over, but you can start early on your outfit inspiration by reading The Moptop, the blog of 22-year-old Tonya Smith.
Smith, a student in Portland, Ore., has been blogging since 2011. (That means you have a lot of great outfit archives to look through.) While the blog may be named for her trademark mane, it’s more than her hair that attracted us to her. We’re not the only ones who’d love to channel some of her indie style—Seventeen named her as one of their Style Council members in 2013. With an endorsement like that, it’s a given that Smith is going places in the world of fashion.
She talked with Feather Magazine via email about her fashion rules, the stores she can’t live without and where she sees herself in the future.
