After five years, we’ve decided to permanently shut down operations for the site.
As editor-in-chief, I didn’t come to this decision lightly. But Feather has always been a passion project for everyone on the staff. As we all grew older, it just started to get harder and harder to find the time for the website. After a while, it just felt like we were doing everyone a disservice by not putting out our best work.
Thank you to everyone who even read just one article. It’s been such a pleasure to interact with so many readers and to write about women’s issues. The market for twenty-something online sites is getting full now, but I’m happy to say that we were one of the first to do it.
Five years ago, I had a crazy dream to create a resource for new college grads to find their way and it turned into something way more better than I could’ve realized. I could never express my full gratitude to the editors, writers, social media managers, marketing managers, etc. who made my dream a reality. This was always a team effort and we had a really great team.
We plan to keep the site up at least through the end of the year, so feel free to continue revisiting your favorite articles and discovering ones you may have missed.
I hope we helped you navigate your twenties and I wish you all the best in the future.
