Impress your friends with these cute and surprisingly easy stocking stuffers for the holidays. The materials also won’t break the bank, so you can make enough for your entire office! (Kidding, kidding! Only do that if your office has fewer than 100 people.) Have fun!
1. Grown-up coloring pages and pack of crayons:
Sketch some fun designs (or look for free, downloadable coloring resources) and print several coloring pages. Use a piece of colorful, festive tape and attach the folded coloring page to those dollar packs of crayons. Viola! Give the gift of creativity and anti-stress.
2. Chocolate chip cookie bells:
Buy a package of pre-made chocolate cookie dough and fashion them into bells or other holiday shapes, either with dollar-store cookie cutters or your own two hands. After they’re baked and cool, place a few cookies in a festive bag with loose chocolate chips and add a curly red or green ribbon for an extra touch of holiday cheer.
3. Pen elves:
You’ll need a package of ballpoint pens, craft googly eyes, felt squares, ribbon, scissors and glue. Put two ballpoint pens together and glue a googly eye on each. Measure how much of the felt square you’ll need to wrap around the pens and cut down to size as needed. Glue the seam of the felt square together. Wrap the ribbon around the “waist” of the pen elf. Cute and practical.
4. Friendship bracelets:
Remember those? Head to the craft store for friendship bracelet supplies, which might have an entire aisle devoted to the craft. You can add beads or other decals depending on your mood or how personalized you’d like the bracelets to be. We’re betting your besties will love the thoughtful throwback.
5. Homemade decorative soaps:
Soap base and instructions can be purchased from most craft stores. Look for the fragrances and molds you like and follow the recipes to make little, decorative soaps. The soaps will look adorable and smell delightful on desks or in the office restrooms.
