J.K. Rowling loves to revisit the Wizarding World as much as we do, and it looks like she’s not tiring of it yet. It hasn’t even been a month since the release of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, but we’re already celebrating the release of a new set of stories.
Multiple outlets are reporting that three new titles have been seen on book-selling websites, like Amazon, all written by Rowling. The new works are entitled, Short Stories from Hogwarts of Power, Politics and Pesky Poltergeists; Short Stories from Hogwarts of Heroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies; and Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide.
The Bookseller reports that Power, Politics and Pesky Poltergeists reveals how Professor Umbridge and Horace Slughorn met Voldemort, then Tom Riddle. Meanwhile, Heroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies centers around the heroes, like Minerva McGonagall and Remus Lupin. Dangerous Hobbies; and Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide will shift focus from main characters and go behind-the-scenes at the school of witchcraft and wizardry.
The books will be released on Sept. 6 for $2.68 per copy. They’ll online be sold online, so don’t start hounding the staff at Books-A-Million.
A spokesperson told The Bookseller that the stories will also be available on the Pottermore website. These books are already listed on Amazon, Barnes & Noble and iBooks, so bookmark those sites and wait it out.
