There’s a long-held theory by Titanic lovers who didn’t get the happy ended we so desperately wanted—nay, deserved. Although she was doomed to play out the horrific act, Kate Winslet (she played Rose in the movie) agrees.
When the ship sinks, Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio) keeps Rose safe by letting her float on a door, while he stays in the water and holds on to the side. A lot of people believe there was definitely enough room on that door for both of them.
This is such a point of contention, and still so highly debated, among fans that people still talk about it.
Honestly, Jack and Rose didn't even have to fit on the door at the same time. They could've just switched every so often. Sharing is caring.

OMFG, YOU IDIOTS: The issue wasn't that Jack and Rose didn't fit on the door, it was that Jack's weight made the door sink!

Watching Titanic and hoping Rose makes place for Jack on that door every. Single. Time.

Well, on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week, Kate finally picked a side.
Of course, we can’t go back and rewrite the past. (Well, we could, but we’d have to convince James Cameron to revise one of the most successful films of his carer, so we have about a 0.0001% chance.)
At least we know Kate would definitely make room for Leo on that big door.
