If you didn’t pass by Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events in the bookstore growing up, then you probably saw the 2004 movie, starring the incomparable Jim Carrey. For a lot of millennials, it was one of the first book series they tackled, besides Harry Potter, of course.
Once again, Netflix is breathing new life into something from our childhoods. But instead of releasing it as a film, the streaming site turned it into a TV series.
We’ve seen a few glimpses of Neil Patrick Harris (who plays Count Olaf) walking around the set in some of his costume, but the new teaser trailer gives us our first good look at him and the Baudelaire siblings.
It looks like they’re going for the same theme as the film, but they’re going to have a lot more time, so we’re sure they’ll branch out a bit. Check out the trailer and tweet your thoughts to @feather_mag!
